USC Aiken has been named a Top Best Value College by the Educate to Career College Ranking Index for 2014.
Educate to Career Inc., more commonly called ETC, is a California-based nonprofit organization. Its college rankings are outcome-based.
The ETC Index analyzes the quality of students when they enter a given college. The program also measures the total costs related to attending the college.
The nonprofit determines the outcomes of students when they enter into the labor market.
The ranking results are determined by which schools did the best job of improving the earnings and attainment of quality employment by their students.
“Our goal is to graduate knowledgeable, hirable graduates,” said USC Aiken’s Chancellor Dr. Sandra Jordan. “We want our students to get as much experiential learning while they are in school as possible so they will be prepared to work in their field of study upon graduation.”
